Organizing, new items, etc (Sylvanian related)

So, before I jump to the "collecting" or "organizing" parts, here is the BIG new thing about my blog. I don't have a bunch of readers, but most are "english speaking". I believe only 2 or 3 persons read it in french... that's why I decided to write in english. My english is really poor/bad, I'm self-taught, it could be a good way to make some progress... I hope so... Sooner or later, I'll translate all the previous posts, or delete some (maybe). I'll surely try to resize some pictures as well (!)

Then, let's speak about new additions to my "soon to be" village. You know I have a part of my display organized as a "seaside village". I just ordered from Sylvanian Store Keepers (UK) this small merry-go-round. I didn't plan to get it first, it was too expensive for my budget, but the price went down, and I was ordering something else so....
Here we go for a quick view of it

This is such a cute one ! And the best : I didn't know it was not only turning, but also going up and down ! I think it's going to be a nice addition to the future beach corner !

I also got in the same parcel the huge poster with all families, it's a nice one, and you have the name of all the characters ! I chose to get it bent, because I couldn't afford to pay twice for the shipping and have it sent in a tube. It's not a "collector" thing for me, it's more for data

And this is mostly why I ordered from SSK : I wanted to get my paws on this cuuuuuute halloween set. First I didn't like it much mostly because the wheels of the wagon are static. And it was expensive too. But for 9.99 it was good enough.

So, the wagon is really cute (but I'm still bothered by those static wheels...), the babies are nice even if their outfit is not really great (the ghost is really cheap in quality, and I'm not really into those new "shiny" suits they are offering now....) and the kids can't hold the lollipops. Is there any positive thing about it ? I would say no, but for a silly reason I still love it. As one of our singers said "the beauty of the ugly shows up immediately" LOL. So do I like it, actually ? YES....

I didn't plan to make an "halloween corner" as long as I'm not going to have other toys from this range but I found some really nice pumpkins and thought they could share it with my "farmer's market". The pumpkins are from Action, they are really great and heavy, they cost nothing (for the whole box it's 0.79€ !) they'll be a nice addition !

As it's the day when kids go back to school, I wanted to take a pic of my little new ones. After I got the japanese set "school friends" I managed to get the European one (of 3 only).
Later I'll have to build back a nursery and such, but for now all the babies and kids are gathered in the same school (my old hand made nursery was destroyed, my ex husband put it in a box outside of the house, and when I found it back there was nothing or so that I could save)

Now about organization... You know that I moved the huuuuge shelves from my craft room to this ugly room that used to be my ex husband's one - supposed to be for his collection, but he just dropped there everything in full mess, many things got broken (he just throw them in mess in boxes, piled-up from ground to ceiling), or damaged when we had troublehen the water pipes broke. I managed to move many things, sold some (still a bunch to sell, but it's selling too slowly and too badly). Now I have 2 rooms, one for my crafts and all my plants (winter is very cold here, I need a place to store my plants inside), and one for the "collection" (no window so it's a dark place, badly finished, etc).
It's nice to have a place just for this, be it ugly but....
It's not looking like what I expected. I know I had no other choice, every place was crowded with his junk, etc. But now I feel like moving some things again (yes...)

I'm speaking about those huge white shelves. The bigger one is quite ok, but the small ones are really destroyed and stand just because the are stucked between the wall and the big one LOL

everything is piled-up waiting for the time I can arrange this, sell it, etc...
Soooo.... I wonder... maybe I could put the big one just after the black ones you see on the left... and then there will be a 24cm gap between it and the wall but I don't care... AND turn the 2 small ones, for they lay on their side (if you see what I mean), one on top of the other... not sure it's going to look any better, but I believe it worth the try...
Any suggestion ? Please ??
Of course I have to do something very stressing before : move the huge and so heavy (more than 300kg - 600 pounds...yep) heater. It's one of those expensive and massive static heat thing, like stone inside, doesn't use much power but heat very well). It's on top of a pile of wood and is about to fall at any moment. Just I don't know how to move it, it's way too heavy for me, nobody is willing to help, and I have to put it on something as the wall is too fragile to hold it...
My life is... interesting... isn't it ?!
Huuuh
Nevermind, I'll find a way. And then I can try to empty (ouch) those shelves, move them (ouch ouch), and see if I can make something more "clever" with the destroyed ones...
Wish me luck LOL

Ok, this being said, here is my "collection" general view. My next works will be to start creating my seaside corner and re-arrange the farmer one...

Ugly pics... sorry so...

    1. I thought I had a lot of things, but... after entering a french group on Facebook I realized I have a very small collection heeheee.... Kids 5years old have the double, I wonder where people can put it all, as long as mine is already taking a LOT of space :-D - I just wish it wasn't that hard to sell toys/figures/dolls for I can make more room and make the place less crowded/more esthetic ...But as I try to repair the house, try to find a job, try to manage my poor health, I really don't feel like being over stressed by sales :-( I know I'll have to do it again soon, but it's just something that scares me... Thank you for your visit ! :-)
